Knitting and more knitting

This is my new laptop Samira and her new case that I knit and felted. I made this one for myself because I am planning to make one for Ande, and I needed to do a practice run first.

This is the start of another Clapotis shawl. I am using lace weight yarn, but using two strands at the same time. This way, it is thick enough to get just about the right weight and gauge.

Jasmin

Well, I know it isn't knitting related, but friends asked if my kitten, Jasmin had a tail because in all her previous photos, it was hidden.

Jasmin seems to be interested in the Chinchilla cage, not the chins. When they move around, she only briefly looks at them.

This is the first time that she jumped up onto something. She looked around from this new vantage point for a really long time. I have a feeling she is going to be a climber later.

I have no idea what she is seeing in this one. She would run back and forth across the room if I made the slightest movements. Silly girl.

do you suppose she knows that her kitty litter is in that green tub and the blue bag? LOL!

Okay, Stacy and Carol, does this satisfy your questions about where her tail is? LOL!!!

Laptop Case

I've been working on redoing the laptop case. So far, so good. I like it better now. It will look a lot better too. The right and wrong sides are clearly defined this time, whereas last time it was hard to tell.

This is my first attempt at the Laptop case. It just didn't look or feel right to me.

The second attempt at this case feels like it is knitting up much faster and it looks tremendously better. I would never have thought there could be such a big difference, but there is.

I know, the pic came out a little blurry. You can still see the striping looks better though, and that is what I was wanting to show anyway. LOL!

New Blog

Well, I've started a new blog. I keep not getting my cite payment in on time, and they freeze the account on me. With my finances the way they are, I can't pay my bill, the money has to go into my gas tank. Grrr!

Anyway, I will write more later, I just wanted to get this started.
